Let's see...knitting news. Oh, I only have one thing on the needles now! I am so happy about that. The only thing I have on the needles is my McQueen knockoff sweater. I still don't know if I am going to like it so I am hesitant in going forward with it.
Yarn: Berroco Ultra Alpaca 3.25 skeins (if you don't want fringe, three is enough)

It's for mom, to keep her ears warm. She definitely will not wear a hat, but since she cut off a lot of hair she was complaining of cold ears, a scarf/hood sounds like a perfect solution. Hopefully she likes it.

Yarn: Shibui just over one skien (ugh, what to do with the partial skein, looks our first spawn will have a lot of green socks to wear, until then, maybe the dog needs boots)....my anklet monkeys. I am officially done making full length socks. I don't really enjoy having socks on my legs so I always wear athletic socks. Knitted anklets bring the best of both worlds together: the comfort of handknit socks and the desire to only wear short athletic socks. Obviously, I will never wear these to the gym, but I love the way they feel
